When compare to other browsers it is one of the most popular web browser world wide according to stats of 2002 - 2003 it gains most of 95% share . In late 90's microsoft used to spent US$ 100 million on Internet Explorer per year . When the day-to-day competition increases it looses popularity when launching of mozilla firefox (2004) and google chrome (2008) .
